Raindrops from the Rose!

What will this day be like? I wonder...
I see as the daylight breaks a land parched being watered gently with the pitter-patter of raindrops. It reminds me, what do you choose to listen to? What sound is trying to permeate your consciousness?
I could choose to listen to the busyness of the traffic on the road outside, or I could choose to listen to the steady soaking sound of the rain…
Both elicit a response from the hearer.
Life is all about choices, I realise. Will you choose Him? The Lord of Lords, and the King of Kings? Will you choose to listen to what he is speaking to you this day?
He encourages us to tune our hearts and minds in to Him. He speaks the better Word.
In my prayer and meditation time with Him this morning, He gave me a Word, a scripture. He is repeating this scripture to me from yesterday. He gave it from the Amplified version of the Word of God to me today. Ephesians 4:13. It speaks to me of my need to be in unity with the Lord and with my fellow believers in Him. We are called to be whole in Him. He makes us whole!
When the world is ravaging us and tearing us apart, or trying to, He speaks the better Word.
I want to encourage you, dear friend, to listen to the heart of the Lord for you. He wants to shower you with His love. He wants to draw you near to Him. Will you accept His offer of redemption today? Only Christ is perfect. Everything else falls to the dim. Choose His light while it may be found.
Let the rain from heaven soothe you. He is calling you near to Him. I hear Him call this great Nation, Australia, to him in this hour. To leave behind the busyness and ask Him what He is speaking in this hour.
The revelation from Heaven today to you, my friend, is that you are indeed loved and treasured by the Heavenly Father! Jesus is the way, the truth, and the Life, and no one can come to the Father but through Him. (John 14:6).
This Great Southland of the Holy Spirit is called to be a nation of prayer warriors.
Let today be the first day of your new beginning in Him.
With Love,
Rebecca Holland-Lane.
